BUYING A HOME
Buying a home is one of the largest purchases you'll likely make, and it's important to have someone working diligently on your behalf.

THE PROCESS
Step 1: Let me work on your behalf
Step 2: Determine How Much House You Can Afford
Step 3: Get Preapproved for credit for Your Mortgage
Step 4: Shop for Your Home and Make an Offer
Step 5: Get a Home Inspection
Step 6: Have the Home Appraised
Step 7: Close on your NEW home
BUYING DO's & DONT'S
DO
When buying a new home, make sure you do your due diligence in researching the area, subdivision, schools, and amenities.
Another important point when house hunting is not to get carried away and buy a house that either cripples you financially or is impractical as a home. This is where Joey's financial and accounting background will help you make the right decision with ease.
DON'T
It may seem obvious to not get into debt before getting a home loan, but many still do it. Any debt you accrue when asking for a loan will be considered and can lead to you missing out on a loan or having to pay higher rates.
Making career changes may delay an application for a loan or mean higher rates. Changing jobs for a higher salary is good but doing this while applying for a loan means you will be less appealing for mortgage lenders.
